Who We Are
SSESA is a nonprofit environmental organization for South Sudan that aims to give back to the country by helping them battle the ecological crisis they are facing and providing safe water. With more than 10 years of experience, we have helped many people, and we are continuing to do so.
Environmental Health and safe water sources are necessary for public health, whether for drinking purposes, food production, or domestic consumption. While most places worldwide have access to safe water, South Sudan is one of the countries experiencing an environmental and water crisis. South Sudan Environmental Services Agency aims to bring safe water sources to its people and solve its rising ecological problems. With our team of professionals having more than 10 years of environmental health experience, we have helped many people, and we are continuing to do so.
South Sudan’s Environmental Condition
South Sudan faces several environmental health challenges , which have resulted in the loss of biodiversity and wildlife habitats as well as water and environmental pollution. Environmental influences affect one's health. There has been an increase in diseases caused by the environment—mainly owing to extensive water contamination caused by urban surface runoff and poor sanitation.
